A legal journalist turned marketer and public relations professional, Jennifer King has worked with the legal profession for more than 25 years. She helps clients hone their marketing messages and position their people and legal practices in the press. She also creates award-winning content for both business and consumer audiences.
Jennifer develops PR strategies for law firms and other legal businesses and works with them to execute PR campaigns. In addition to traditional media relations work, she frequently creates content for her clients, including award nominations, Chambers and other legal directory submissions, ghostwritten articles and marketing collateral.
During her 14-year journalism career, Jennifer was a reporter, editor and ultimately Vice President of Editorial at Corporate Legal Times, as well as Vice President of Conferences. There, she focused on corporate legal affairs and law departments, including operational strategy, technology, transactional matters, litigation and dispute resolution, compliance and regulatory matters.
From 2005 to 2016, Jennifer was an independent marketing consultant for clients in the legal, technology, travel, financial services and other professional services industries. She authored thought leadership pieces including white papers, articles and web content; created and executed content marketing strategies (often with an emphasis on SEO); developed and ran social media campaigns; blogged; and guided clients through the branding process.
